Before the largest climate march in world history, youth will converge to build power for change.
Who: Youth from across the United States, and around the world.
What: The convergence is open-call programming, with youth-leaders and trainers from across the country leading workshops with an intentional focus on youth power, identity and leadership development. We will organize within a framework grounded in intersectionality, justice, movement building, and long-term systemic analysis. We hope that attendees will leave the convergence having built relationships that will support the fabric of strong, strategic progress in all of our movements. (Read more in our grounding principles.)
When: Saturday, September 20 at 9:30AM
Where: Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus 122 Amsterdam Avenue, New York, NY 10023
Why?: So we can do long-term movement building for a just, equitable future.
